Over the decades, the Wharton's Law Lexicon has managed to entrench into the psyche of the lawyers, the jurists and the law students alike, as the dictionary of choice. Every edition has been made to be comprising of latest and uncommon words and phrases besides other common words to enrich its contents and purpose. However, there has been a felt-necesity to have a law lexicon to subserve the needs of the students, who have to come across words and legal maxims and phrases, not found generally in any other dictionary. It is, hterefore, for the very first time, the Wharton's Law Lexicon has been concised to in order to make it more relevant and feasible and moreover, handy for the students to use without compromising the traditional flavour, and character of this much sought-after dictionary.
