  • Universal's Digest of Important Labour Cases by H. L. Kumar | LexisNexis

Labour Law is an umbrella term and includes the statutes enacted with the object of inter alia ensuring welfare of workers in an industrial establishment. The understanding of a law is never complete without taking into account the judgments delivered by the constitutional courts in the country. However, it is also well-known that today we have more ‘Judge-made’ laws than ‘Legislature-made’ laws making it essential to keep a track of all the landmark judgments on the particular subject. Digest of important Labour Cases has been designed to serve the readers by making available the ratios laid down in all important landmark judgments on the subject. In this Twelfth Edition all relevant judgments passed since the publication of the last edition have been included and the those overruled now deleted so as to make the book as ready referencer for the readers. The book shall be of great help to the practitioners in the field of labour law, Labour Courts, members of industrial establishments, law faculty, law students etc.
