The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) have undoubtedly, provided ample impetus to the implementation of the Companies Act, 2013 and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. Indeed, both NCLT and NCLAT with the short span are c01umended for their extraordinary efforts in rendering clarity to the key issues emerging out of the said momentous legislations. The present issue encompasses the recent developments in the role and powers .of the NCLT and NCLAT.
