About the Author
Chetan Bhagat is the author of five novels, all of which have gone on to become blockbuster sellers since they were released. They have also been adapted into major Bollywood films. In addition to being a bestselling author, Chetan is a motivational speaker and columnist. He was named one of the ‘100 Most Influential People in the World’ by Time magazine and one of the world’s ‘100 Most Creative People in Business’ by Fast Company, USA. He lives in Mumbai with his wife Anusha, an ex-classmate from IIM-A, and his twin boys, Shyam and Ishaan.

His Personal Life

An IIT, IIM alumnus, Chetan Bhagat was an investment banker. But he gave up his flourishing career in Hong Kong and returned to India to pursue his passion for writing. Often regarded as a genius in marketing his books, Chetan Bhagat is also a much sought after motivational speaker. He also writes newspaper columns focusing on youth affairs and national issues.
